Photographic Michele Pellegrino Collection
The Natural Park of the Upper Valley Pesio and Tanaro has prepared a museum dedicated to the works of the photographer from Chiuso Michele Pellegrino inside their office in Via Sant'Anna. The black and white photographs by Michele Pellegrino, exhibited both in Italy and abroad and collected in numerous publications contain a personal research regarding the mountain, above all during the heavy years of the exodus towards the plain, a survey regarding the claustral life of the different monastic orders and the "minor" considered architecture. Very beautiful also some life split graphics, portraits of the seventies. The anthological exhibition has been divided in eight sections: water places, ordinary enchantments, Visages de la contemplation, Alta Langa, wedding scene, Alpi Liguri - Maritime - Cozie, Monte Bianco and a time track. All in all 300 images, disposed in a space of about 500 sqm through a linear path of more than 200 m.
Here we have a photographic gallery with some of the most representing images.
