A picturesque and easy ring itinerary among the magic woods of the Natural Park, at the discovery of the Pis del Pesio and other three marvellous falls.

You start from the shelter Pian delle Gorre (1.030 m), at 13 Km from the built-up area of Chiusa di Pesio and you follow the indications for Pis del Pesio, till Gias Fontana (1.215 m), going along the faunal observation enclosure. After reaching Gias Fontana, with a light deviation on the right, you can admire from the footbridge on the path that goes to Vaccarile, the first picturesque fall formed by the Pesio. You return to the clearing of the Gias Fontana and you reach after about 30 minutes the Pis del Pesio (1.426 m), which spectacular fall, being a siphon, is visible only in case of strong precipitations or strong thaw. Leaving the wall of the Pis del Pesio you retrace your own steps towards the Gias degli Arpi (1.435 m), where a long and magnificent descent starts in the heart of the Silver fir wood of the Prel. At the end of the descent you cross on two small footbridges the Marguareis Valley and the Sestrera Valley, which waters are the origin of the two last falls, situated in the place Saut ("the jump" 1.184 m). At least, you return to Pian delle Gorre going along the military road.
