Fishing Reserve

The fishing Reserve can be divided in three main stretches: yellow, blue and green. The first stretch the yellow one, starts from the hamlet San Bartolomeo and arrives till the Certosa Bridge. The blue stretch starts from the Certosa Bridge and arrives till the bridge of the Ardua village while the green stretch, completely on the territory of the Natural Park, starts from the Ardua village till reaching almost the confluence with the Saut stream. It is possible to do fly-fishing in the last stretch of the Reserve using hooks without tongue or squeezed.

Every Thursday some brown or salmon trout (the last ones in the yellow stretch only) are spread in the Reserve. The fishing licence is valid for one day only and allows the fishing of 5 trout. The prices vary according to the chosen stream stretch: it starts from 20 Euro for the yellow stretch, 25 Euro for the blue stretch and 60 Euro for the green stretch, where the trout exceed in average 6/7 hundred grams. The minimum fishing size is 22 cm; the out-of-size fish has to be freed.

The Reserve is open from the end of March to the end of September: in the morning from 7.30 to 12.00 and in the afternoon from 14.00 till 19.00. It is closed on Tuesdays. For further information visit the site http://www.passionetrota.it or call number 0171 738101.
