Cycle tourism mountain bike and horse-riding

The bicycle is one of the best ways to get in touch with the territory of the Nature Park and the Valley in general. In fact there are many routes easy to cross by mountain bike: we indicate in particular the route Chiusa Pesio/Certosa., the San Bruno ring and for more capable bikers the itinerary, which starting from the Pian delle Gorre arrives at the Passo del Duca and at the Conca delle Carsene. Very beautiful the tour of the Anello dei Forti a route, which touches numerous nineteenth-century military fortifications between Italy and France.

Many the courses in the lower Valley suitable for the cycle tourism: starting from Chiusa Pesio for example you can reach the hamlet Pradeboni and then arrive at Peveragno. From here follow the indications for the hamlet Montefallonio and you return towards Chiusa de Pesio going along the Mombrisone hill with the homonymous castle.

Even the horse represents a perfect approach for the Pesio Valley: there are also many paths in the upper Valley which can be crossed by horse. It is recommended to contact a riding school for those who want to start in order to follow some lessons and to choose horse-riding in groups accompanied by a trainer. Among the most beautiful routes we have the long and nice ride of the Road of small villages, the path Chiusa Pesio/Certosa, the ex military road which connects the Passo del Duca to the Colle del Prel and the difficult trekking of the Forti ring for the more experienced riders.

The excursionists have at disposal stables in Pian delle Gorre and at the Refuge Garelli; in order to know the availability it is necessary to get previously in contact with the Park Organisation.
