Beechwood

The beech-tree is the most diffused tree in the territory of the park together with the silver fir, occupying great part of the left orographic side.  These woods, even if they were intensively cut before the setting up of the park, are currently introduced in the seed collection areas of the Piedmont Region. By the middle of the eighteenth century beechwood has been used in an intensive way due to the transfer of the Glass and Crystal Factory Organisation to Chiusa di Pesio.
