The Reserve is situated in the area of the Upper Langa, some few kilometres away from Ceva on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, among the towns Montezemolo, Camerana and Saliceto. Among these woody hills rises Belbo. The stream, able of sudden fills up winds along humid areas for some kilometres, where botanic lovers can admire important blossoming and in particular 22 orchid species. The Belbo sources are the sole humid environment of the upper Langa; this is the reason why they have become Natural Reserve under the protection of the Park Organisation since 1993.

The Belbo sources can be visited in any season and it is possible to do different sport types. Trekking, mountain bike and horse-riding are ideal activities due to the thick network of paths and little roads in the Reserve. You can do cross-country ski in winter.
