The Roccarina is situated at the back of the seat of the Natural Park in via Sant'Anna, a decisive area to know the historical route of Chiusa di Pesio. The area, which will be soon exploited as a diffused ecomuseum, guards important core samples of the town: here industrial nineteenth-century experiences were concentrated with the lime furnace and the ex-sawmill.

Furthermore it is the seat of a typical Carthusian barn example: the barn of Castellar.

The same area hosts the rural church of Saint Anna and the famous hunting palace of  Mombrisone.
