A small cemetery was discovered on the Mount Cavanero, in 1883, with tombs datable from the end of the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age, further analysed in later explorations. The tombs suppose the existence of a small settled village on the top of the Mount; as proof of this theory there is also the find of an extraordinary complex of bronze finds and of some ceramic impasto fragments.
